There are plenty of things happening behind the scenes, too. It takes a whole team to provide the kind of thoughtful, thorough dental care we believe you deserve. And there is one more very important member of that team: you.

One of the things we value is working together. Each of us has a different role, but we share the same goal. We want to help you maintain a healthy smile while making sure you feel comfortable, informed, and cared for along the way.
That teamwork matters. When we communicate with one another and share what we are seeing, we get a more complete picture of your oral health. It also means you have an entire team paying attention, asking questions, and looking out for you.

We may have the dental training, but you know your smile better than anyone. You know when something feels different. You know if a tooth has suddenly become sensitive, your gums have started bothering you, or chewing does not feel quite the way it normally does.
We want you to tell us about those things. We also want to know what matters to you. If you have questions about your oral health, concerns about treatment, or goals for your smile, those conversations help us take better care of you. Good dental care works best when it is a two-way conversation.

You may notice that we ask about more than what is happening with your teeth that day. Has anything changed with your health? Are you taking a new medication? Have you noticed discomfort? Is there something you have been meaning to ask us?
We’re not trying to put you on the spot. We are gathering the pieces that help us understand the bigger picture. Sometimes a small detail you mention can be surprisingly helpful. The more openly we communicate, the easier it is for us to personalize your care and make recommendations that make sense for you.
We Want You to Understand Your Oral Health
We never want dental care to feel like something that is simply happening to you. If we notice a concern, we want you to understand what we are seeing and why it matters. If we recommend treatment, we want you to know why. And if you have questions, please ask them.
We believe education is an important part of keeping your smile healthy. When you understand what is happening in your mouth, you can make informed decisions and take an active role in your care.
Your Home Care Keeps the Teamwork Going
Our part of the job does not end when you leave the office, and neither does yours. The brushing, flossing, and everyday choices you make at home are what keep all of our work moving in the right direction between appointments. We can provide guidance, monitor changes, and help when something needs attention, but the few minutes you spend caring for your smile each day really matter.
Think of us as your support system. We’re here to answer questions, offer suggestions, and help you make adjustments when something is not working.
