Janelle C. Eckdhal, DDS

“Dentistry has been a perfect fit for me, as it has allowed me to help people of all ages feel better about their smiles and about themselves. Monroe is a great place to practice and live; it has secure, wholesome roots and an active population of young families.”

Dr. Eckdhal grew up nearby, on a farm in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. She then attended Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois where she met her husband, Eric. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Biology, she attended dental school at the University of Iowa and graduated as valedictorian of her dental school class. Dr. Eckdhal attended a general practice residency in Salt Lake City, Utah where she practiced both in a large University hospital and a rural clinic on a Navajo Reservation.

After moving back to Wisconsin in 2006, Dr. Eckdhal has enjoyed practicing with Dr. Carter and expanding the services she provides by attending continuing education courses. She has attended Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and Hands on Training Institute for Dental Implants and is a member of the American, Wisconsin and Greater Dane Dental Associations.
