Regular dental checkups are essential for everyone in the family — toddlers, teens, mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa included. When you and your family members have healthy mouths, you will enjoy healthier, happier lives. Mouth health is directly linked to overall well-being, so a good oral hygiene routine at every age makes sense, and that means brushing, flossing, and visiting us for routine preventive care.
Brushing & Flossing Alone Isn’t Going to Cut It
We love that you have a great daily routine of brushing and flossing. We also love that you’re setting a good example for the rest of your family, but brushing and flossing are not enough to keep your teeth and mouth completely healthy.
While brushing and flossing as recommended is essential, your toothbrush and floss can’t eliminate 100% of plaque buildup. You need a dentist’s special skills and tools to get it all. When you and your family members visit us for a hygiene examination and cleaning, you’ll leave with clean teeth, no doubt, but it’s more than that. We check your mouth for signs of problems, including:

Hopefully, we find nothing, but if we do, we can make a treatment recommendation to fix the problem and completely restore your oral health.
